I am unable to PASTE what I have previously copied from a website into a new Outlook email. The (3) paste options appear. However, regardless of which pasting format option I select, NOTHING PASTES. What Outlook 2010 option enables copying and pasting multiple HTML formatted website data and paragraphs?

Does this issue occur only while pasting into an outlook email? Try pasting the content into a word document and check if it works.

Are you able to copy/paste contents from websites into an email or is it particularly this data that you are not able to paste?

This issue might occur if the formatting in the data is damaged. Copy the contents into a notepad and then copy the data from notepad into the email and check how it works.

Note: The above step removes all the formatting applied in the data.

I did some additional testing with various websites. Sometimes I merely copied text, other times I " selected all" .

I was able to copy text easily by using CTRL + V. When using the (3) Control Paste options, it usually would not paste into my Outlook email.

When copying " all of the selected" website data, ONLY CTRL + V would paste website data. The (3) Control Paste options seldom pasted data into my Outlook email.

I was consistently able to copy ALL copied website data into MS Word without any issues.

I do not recall having issues with copying website data into earlier versions of MS Outlook. In fact, I was able to copy and paste after installing Outlook 2010. I thought I must have made a mistaken Outlook email setup issue.

Why is there not a simple right click with one's mouse and select PASTE? If anyone knows how this could be enabled, it sure would meet my (and others) needs. It would be greatly appreciated.

Check in safe mode:

Hold the Ctrl key and click on Outlook icon and open in safe mode, now check with Outlook. If you are able to paste without any issues then it is due to add-ins you were not able to paste the website data. Follow the steps below and disable add-ins in Outlook 2010.

1. Open Outlook

2. Click on File> options> Add-ins

3. Click on "GO" beside Manage – COM Add-ins and uncheck the add-ins and click ok.

4. Close and open Outlook and check.

If the above step does not fix the issue, create new profile and check.
