Meeting Room calendar permissions?

I'm trying to set up a meeting room mailbox, so only the organiser / attendees appear in the meeting room's calendar.

I do not wish to have the subject of the meeting made public within the calendar, only the people who will be there or just the person who has requested the meeting.

Is this possible or is it the case that you can only see all or nothing i.e make the meeting private?

In Exchange 2007, you cannot selectively choose who can see the subject. But in Outlook 2007, you can make it private by clicking Private on the Meeting tab, and then only the organizer and attenders can see the subject and content, the others will just see the “Private Appointment” and the time arrange in the shared Calendar.

For detailed, you can refer the following link,

Hi Guys,
many thanks for your help, I kinda guessed that the answer was going to be the private meeting setting.

However the main problem is this.

When a private meeting is set up in a meeting room mailbox's calendar, it just shows as the room having been booked. We have one specific meeting room here which is a video conference suite. If someone books it and makes the meeting appear as private, then no one can see who has reserved it and lets say another member of staff needs that room for a video conference, then they will need to ask around or e mail all users to see who has reserved it.

Its a real shame that if the meeting when it gets made private does not just display the name of the organiser in the meeting room's calendar.....not the subject or attendees, just the organiser!

Here's the article that I refer to when setting up room mailboxes.

I set AddOrganizerToSubject, DeleteAttachments, DeleteComments to $TRUE and all that shows up in the calendar is the name of the person who booked the room. You have to have AutomateProcessing set to AutoAccept for this to work. It's all covered in that article.
