Outlook's Rules Wizard; No 'Forward using a specific template' Rule

I'm wanting to set up a rule in Outlook for sending e-mail alert messages when incoming message content contains specific words. Using the Rules Wizard, I don't see a rule that would allow me to do this.

What I need is a rule like this: 'Forward using a specific template'. There exists a rule 'Reply using a specific template', but that's not useful, as I'm not wanting to send the alert to the sender. I need to use a template because I don't want to forward any content from the sender.

Is there another way to approach this? Thanks

I was thinking as a work around, I could...

Rule 1: using rule actions: 'With specific words in message subject or body' and 'Forward the message', to my InBox.

Rule 2: using rule actions: 'With specific words in message subject or body'and'from People or Public Group' and 'Reply using a specific template', again to my Inbox, then

Rule 3: using rule actions:'With specific words in message subject or body' and 'Forward to People or Specific Group'.

That should work, but a bit messy.

Another problem with this work around is that the Alert messages would be delayed a minimum of 2 minute, as these rules processing would be limited by 'Schedule an automatic Send/Recieve every [ xx] minutes' setting in Outlook/Options/Advanced menu.

Well, I did some experimenting with this 3 rule work around. Rule 1 works fine. But Outlook fails to process rule 2 (error).

Apparently Outlook can't Reply... to the sender.... using a specific template. That software bug sucks.

Remove all the rules and recreate it and check if it helps.

Thanks for the help Sachin. I tried that, but still get the same error message..... " Cannot reply to message" .

Don't see how it could be, but do you think the Hotmail connector for Outlook is causing this error?

Is it possible to write a macro using VBA that adds a rule action or runs a rule action custom script? I know you can record macros of just about anything that you can manually do, using the keyboard and mouse, but I don't think you can manually run most rule actions.
