Hi, I'm using Office 2010 Professional 32-bit with Outlook 2010 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Problem 1: New IMAP features are not working

Deleted e-mails are still marked for deletion and not hidden Outlook is still unresponsive on IMAP accounts if there is no or a bad connectionThis is only the case within the IMAP inbox, in the IMAP sub-folders everything is working fineFeature is described here: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/outlook/archive/2010/02/06/better-imap-in-outlook-2010.aspx

Problem 2: Meeting Requests with a calendar preview is not working

If meeting requests arrive, I only see the attached HTML/ICS files, no calendar preview is shown, and all the other buttons (Accept, Decline etc.) are grayed outIf I copy the e-mail from the IMAP inbox to an IMAP sub-folder, it is working fineFeature is described here: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/outlook/arc...requests-with-a-preview-of-your-calendar.aspx

Both problems are gone if I recreate the IMAP account, but after some days/weeks, the problems appear again. Problems appear on 2 different IMAP accounts. I moved my IMAP PST files to a different location since Outlook 2007.

Repairing the PST files using SCANPST.exe didn't help. (http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/outlook-2010-pst-file-repair-tool/ )

Any idea how to fix this? :)

I can't speak about problem two, but the first item of problem 1 is a setting within the IMAP account. There's an option to mimic standard Deleted Items behavior. Click File>Account Settings. Select your IMAP account, click Change, then More Settings, then Deleted Items. Make sure the settings are what you want. I believe you should also be using the " Hide Items marked for Deletion" view.

Brian, thanks for your tip! The “Hide Items marked for Deletion” view did the trick for hiding deleted mails. (part of problem 1)
