I have a strange issue with external Autodiscover.
When in Outlook I want to Add a account I get the credentials popup, when I type in the password (correct) it comes back up time after time.
Internally Autodiscover works as a charm (internal and external uri are the same).
This is what I do:
-Outlook 2010 > Add Acount
- Choose E-mail Account and fill in Name, Address and Password > Next
- Then the credentials popup comes up

With administrator account External autodiscover keeps on asking for password time after time (solved)
I tested with a simple domain user and it worked, asked 1 time for password. (now administrator also works)

Other stange issue is that jondoe@domain.com with password dont work.
BUT domain\jondoe and password then it works OK.
Why is only domain\jondoe working and jondoe@domain.com not?
I then had to restart Outlook 2010 and it asked me again for credentials and then works (looks like OK?)
output Outlook Anywhere is OK

Hi dikkehaaj.
If you enable the Forms Authentication, and chose the logon format Domain\user name, then the behavior would be expected.
Yet, you could change it, through the EMC and the IIS management console.
Regards!
Gavin
