In Outlook 2007 I used to be able to clink on a link in an incoming e-mail and it takes you to the website. I now get a message saying general failure, the system cannot find the specified file. Have I accidentally deleted a function or disabled something?
I'm also getting major problems with outlook crashing repeatedly on opening. It goes straight into e-mail send-receive mode and then crashes.
I get this message:
Problem Event Name: AppHangB1
Application Name: OUTLOOK.EXE
Application Version: 12.0.6607.1000
Application Timestamp: 4e398dcd
Hang Signature: 39e1
Hang Type: 6400
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.4
Locale ID: 2057
Is this a separate problem or could it be fixed at the same time as the other issue?
Thanks again for your help.

This could be the send/receive file (*.srs) - find and delete it then restart outlook. In Windows 7/8, you can type or paste %appdata%\Microsoft\outlook in the address bar of windows explorer to jump to it.
