Using "check for duplicates" for existing contacts

Is there a way to use Outlook's "check for duplicates" feature to compare 2 existing contacts rather than a new contact and an existing contact?

This feels like a foolish question, but from which part of the Outlook interface do I do this? I searched for the person in question, found the record, but I can't find any part of it that is drag-able.
